Re: Excel Auto Upload
Hi @Jmoreno best practice is to set up a Workbench job on the server to automatically upload Excel files to Domo. You can also install Workbench on your own machine, but that would require it to be running constantly. Are you able to save your Excel file to a network location that your current Workbench application can access?
Re: Publishing to subscriber instances problem
I agree with both of you.
After our content releases, I spot-check my child instances to ensure that they seem to have received the correct content; however, there are rare cases where an individual instance will randomly not get a couple of cards on a page.
I'm not sure how big your publication jobs are, but I have some that take a few hours to hit all of the instances (45 datasets, 45 pages, 460 cards, 58 subscribers), so I typically wait a while to verify that the instances have updated correctly.
I believe Domo is working on some enhancements to Domo Everywhere that will give us metrics around publications, like how many pages we sent from a publisher instance and how many are on the child instances. Some people, like @jaeW_at_Onyx, perhaps, use APIs to verify that the correct content made it to the proper places.

Re: Release Notes - What Changed
Agreed, This can tie in with https://dojo.domo.com/main/discussion/comment/55344 to get release notes in general (for all things being released not just the major big flashy things).
Re: Publishing to subscriber instances problem
@akeating thanks.
This was 2 pages 6 cards across 3 subscribers. Nothing major.
I'm waiting to hear back from domo on this.
I'm a software developer and have never released a feature that sometimes works 🤣
Don't get me wrong I love domo but paid features must work.
Re: FISCAL calendar period over period comparison to previous years
build a fiscal calendar where for each day you assign the week the date belongs to.
if you can imagine, every company would have a slightly different take on what the week number should be, so having an artifact in a table
1) guarantees that you can see it
2) creates a column you can filter any dataset with.
Re: Data Center Folders
i hear what you're saying, but tagging a dataset is the same number of clicks as moving something into a different folder...
in many ways tagging structures are more powerful than folders because a dataset could be attributed to multiple tags (whereas a dataset couldn't live in multiple folders).
why not just use Tags + the Preset filter option?
for more sophisticated use cases Domo is seeing more customers adopt using multiple instances of Domo to segment data, but of course there's additional cost associated with this approach.
Re: Page filter add contains + allows "ORs"
This request has been a known missing feature in Domo for years. It would be amazing to see headway on this.
Re: Trigger Frequency Option - When All Datasets Updated
it's not in product yet, but you can do this with scripting.
Re: Beast Mode URL via Governance Data
@Mychele you want ... everyone to be able to edit the beast mode? or you just want them to see the definition?
b/c you can accomplish "seeing the calculation" with domo_governance + BeastModes report.
if you were building a card, that could be accomplished with pfilters.
Re: Customize Domo UI
You could look at customizing user experience with different arrays of feature switches in multiple instances of Domo.
if domo ever gets an instance switching feature kind of like Buzz on Desktop, it could create a seamless experience for having different views with different feature switches.
either way this sounds like a Domo Everywhere enhancement!
