Re: Trimming and converting a Date/Time Field
You can use the HOUR function to return a value between 0 and 23 to filter on (in your case 9-17).
CASE WHEN HOUR(`Timestamp`) BETWEEN 9 AND 17 THEN 'Keep' ELSE 'Exclude' END
If you want to convert the times in a 12 hour format you can use the DATE_FORMAT function with a specific format string
DATE_FORMAT(`Timestamp`, '%Y-%m-%d %r')
%Y - 4 digit year
%m - 2 digit month
%d - 2 digit day
%r - Time, 12-hour (hh:mm:ss followed by AM or PM)
For more information on the different formatting options for the format string you can reference https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360043429953?language=en_US
Re: YOY count
Try doing this as a different way to count without using the count aggregation inside the sum aggregation.
SUM(CASE WHEN YEAR(`time_stamp`) = YEAR(CURRENT_DATE()) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) / SUM(CASE WHEN YEAR(`time_stamp`) = YEAR(CURRENT_DATE())-1 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)

I suggest you check out this article on some of Domo's Period-over-Period chart types: https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/360042924834?language=en_US
If it has to be in table format, then this write-up by @GrantSmith also has some helpful tips for making your own PoP comparisons: https://dojo.domo.com/main/discussion/53481/a-more-flexible-way-to-do-period-over-period-comparisons
Re: Making a bucket list of defects
For the OR statement, you need to restate the field you are comparing against like this:
WHEN `ComplaintDesc` LIKE '%ICE%' OR `ComplaintDesc` LIKE '% ICE%' THEN 'ICE'
Re: "Request for data took too long causing a timeout." Issues in DOMO's Dashboard
@Thinh ,
Open a support ticket with Domo or email support@domo.com and paste in the URL to your dataset that is taking too long. They can look into it. I've done this several times.

Re: Magic ETL -Combine Columns
@Pau It looks like you need to configure your output dataset (i.e. name it). Domo considers the dataflow to be incomplete if the output tile is not configured.
Re: Transforming 6 digit integer to a date when bad values are involved
@gbrown Another option is to use the following formula in Magic ETL:
STR_TO_DATE(`Date_Temp`,'%m%d%y')
Re: Variables feature not automatically updating
I'm noticing this, too. Updating the variable definition in the analyzer does not update the variable control card. This needs to be fixed to make variables usable
Re: Can we export output data from a workflow in ETL?
@sharan_patil you can download a dataset to excel using the 'Export Dataset' option

Re: Beast Mode Case Excluding Certain Strings
@Domomon the syntax is NOT LIKE when you want to be sure it's not anywhere in the string.
So:
CASE
WHEN `campaign` LIKE '%online%' THEN 'Online'
WHEN `campaign` LIKE '%residential%' AND `ga_campaign` NOT LIKE '%semi%' THEN 'Residential'
ELSE 'Other'
END
