Re: Creating a Pass/Fail Test in Magic ETL
Alternatively you can use a group by tile and select the minimum value for your pass fail column and join it back to your original dataset that way if any are marked as fail all would become fail.
Re: Creating a Pass/Fail Test in Magic ETL
@gbrown I would suggest doing this by splitting your dataset once you have the Pass/Fail beastmode created as written. Have a branch that filters to just the fail rows and then you can select just the Submission ID and Pass/Fail columns and then use the Remove Duplicates tile. Then just join it back to the “original” branch of your dataset using the submission ID and you'll have all ID's with a single fail marked as fail.
Re: Is there a way to create a dark or black border around a card?
@DanielShurina690 - I think your only option currently would be to try to create the visual using a DDX brick. However, this would be a good feature request to add.
Re: Percent Change Beast Mode Calculation
@JedBenson - I would consider splitting these two metrics up into separate visuals if I were you. Maybe have a bar chart or variance chart showing the % change month over month and then this table below it. Trying to fit a calculation into a pivot table that will only calculate for certain columns is not something that I know how to do in Domo.
Re: Schedule Report - Weekly data report every Friday
Filter your card with a beast mode to calculate the prior week's timeframe and then schedule your report based on the filtered card.
How to Export filtered dataset?
I have a 1 million row dataset in Domo. I want to filter the data, and only export that data in a CSV. When I filter the data and export, Domo exports the whole 1 million rows, which does not run on my Excel.
Anyone know how I can download the filtered dataset>
Re: Beastmode not recognising exisisting column
@NateBI Does it still return an error if you put single quotes around TRUE? It may be reading that as a field name instead of a value.
Re: Combine date columns
If by blank you mean null, then you can use the IFNULL() function to do the replacement ilke this:
IFNULL(`appeal determination date`,`determination date`)
If it isn't actually null but an empty space you can do this:
CASE WHEN TRIM(`appeal determination date`) = '' THENdetermination date
ELSEappeal determination date
END
Re: Heatmap Time Sorting Issue
I find it best to use a numeric sort for the heat map. I would create a beast mode for the day of the week that returns the number (1-7) for the weekday, I would also do beast mode that returns a numeric value for the time.
