Re: Please help me write this filter formula:
The likely reason that you are running into issues with the two tiles is that you are likely using the same column name in both tiles. This results in the 2nd tile overriding what was in the first tile. I would suggest that in the IC Exception formula tile, you label the field as IC Exceptions. In the END Exception formula tile, label that field as End Exception. Then in your Filter tile, set your filter to where IC Exception equals Include or End Exception equals Include.
Re: Null values in date fields
Instead of this:
Case whendiscarded_atis NULL andarchived_atis NULL then count(invoice_id) else NULL end
try this instead:
SUM(Case whendiscarded_atis NULL andarchived_atis NULL then 1 else 0 end)
Using 1's and 0's with SUM is another way to count items instead of using the COUNT function.
Re: Connecting to the Powerpoint Plugin
Domo released a new Office add-in at DP23. I would try using it instead.
Re: Beast mode errors in dataset views
@Jobur I'm glad you got it to work in the dataset. Yes, I've found that calculated columns don't always perform well in dataset views, especially when columns or removed or grouped.
Re: beastmode
@NIKKI Do you plan on having a single row per value of the Indicator Text field? If so you do not need to partition by that field in your card because your data will already be grouped by that field. Also, note that your denominator will always be 1 in this case based on your current formula. If that's not what you want, then you can remove the word DISTINCT from your formula to calculate the percentage based off the total number of rows.
