New User - Help with Filling Forward Previous Incident Date

I'm working with citation data for different locations and want to create a column called "Previous Citation Date" for each location. So far, in Magic ETL, I’ve filtered the data by the days a citation was issued and used the Lag function in the Rank Tile to get the previous citation date, partitioned by location. However, when I join this back to the dataset, it still leaves the challenge of how to fill forward the previous citation date for all the days no citation was issued for that location. I'm new to Domo and not sure how to go about this or if I'm approaching this in the right way.

Additionally, I’m trying to build a Single Value Card to show the number of consecutive days since the last citation was issued.

Would love any advice on the best way to approach this in Domo—thanks!

    Hello @CRBrown,

    Providing a sample of your data would be helpful. Based on my understanding of your request, you can use the 'Group' tile to find the MAX('Citation Date') for each location and then join it back to the main dataset.

    For the second question, the following Beast Mode formula should meet your needs.

    DATEDIFF(CURRENT_DATE(), MAX(CITATION_DATE))
