You can't rename the legend values. Those are pulled directly from the values in your series. You could utilize a CASE statement in a new beast mode to conditionally set a value and use that as your series.

    CASE WHEN CONCAT(`value1`, `value2`) = 'Value1 Value2' THEN 'abc'
    WHEN …
    END

What do you mean by alias? If you are referring to referencing one beast mode within another, that can't be done in Analyzer, but it is something that has been suggested in the Ideas Exchange.

The CONCAT function follows this format: CONCAT(expression1expression2expression3,...)

An example would look like this:

    CONCAT('First Name',' ','Last Name')

    Hope this helps.

The name of your beast mode you use to create the formula is your alias. So you can create a beast mode with the CONCAT function and reference it by the name you give it.

I am trying to combine two values within a field so the name of the beast mode wont work. Its showing up in the legend as the Value1 value 2

    Reference : Concat(value1, value2)

I want to use something like concat(value1,value2) as 'abc'
