Customized variables on details view

Hi Domo Community!

I've noticed one unexpected behavior while working with variables.

I've placed several variables controls on my dashboard (i customized the original ones to fit the use case e.g. renamed Text_Input_1 to "Metric", inserted possible values, changed to dropdown etc):

However, when I open the "Current vs projected Sales by Region" card in details, the customization I've applied on a dashboard is not reflected - the original, "raw" variables appear there:

I don't think this is expected as the customization created on a dashboard should be inherited by the cards residing on it.
