How can you use a relative date filter in the DOMO Campaigns distribution list filter?

For example, in my DOMO campaign distribution list data source I can have a filter for sale_date is greater than or equal to 6/1/2022. However, what language do I use in the distribution list if I want this date filter to be prior month? Or Last 5 days? Or Prior Year, etc...

The following link references that the filter in the distribution list should include the dataset column name (sale_date), the operands and the value of the filter - but does not explain how to make the value relative to the current date.

Hi @Julie_H ,

So I think you should use a formula trick called "Interval". I answered a previous question around previous dates here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQZS8NKX-Gg&list=PLLbgJInsMl7o3pPpLmyVe1AsxwX2OEJGO&index=2

So you can saw date - interval 5 day or date- interval 1 year etc

Thanks @DashboardDude, I appreciate your suggestion. That would work if I was using a card, however I am attaching an excel file to the campaign directly from the data source so can't create beast mode calculations. I had thought about creating different fields in the data source that would subtract the current date from the transaction date, and then using that in my filter, or a month column, and year column in the data source, but that is a lot of extra fields. Was hoping there was syntax I could use in the distribution list filters to do the same thing. If you have any other thoughts or suggestions, please let me know.
