Page Filtering not Retained when Viewing Storyboard Page as a Slideshow

I have a storyboard set up to work with page filtering.  When I set my filter and then chose to display the storyboard as a slideshow the filter I just set is ignored.  What am I doing wrong?

When applying page filters unless applied while editing a page and then saved, they are refreshed when the page is refreshed or left. As you move into the slide show the slides are picking up the default settings. Are you able to edit the page, saving the filters so the filtered view is now the default view and then enter the slide show, Or make a copy of your storyboard page to do so?
