POSITION DESCRIPTION

Interface Security Systems is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst/Compliance Officer to join our firm!

This employee will act as the intermediary between the business teams and the technical community (IT & Development). They will also be heavily involved with the creation, distribution, and delivery of the business intelligence reports via our Bi solution, Domo.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will use data to figure out business & market trends while working as an integral member of the Business Optimization Team to realize cost improvement, efficiencies, profits and help create a first-class customer experience.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will gather data through several means, from mining a company's computer data through software, looking at competitor data and industry trends to help develop a picture of where the company stands in the industry, and develop ideas for how they can improve and provide data facts that result in favorable ROIs, both internal and customer facing.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will spend most of their time analyzing data and structuring the data in a way that tells the story to Executive Leadership, particularly: past trends, current conditions, and future predictions. The BI Analyst will be able to understand large chunks of data and trends, and then communicate those trends to the company and recommend best practices.

The responsibilities of this role will also include a very important compliance piece, to ensure that launched initiatives and employees remain compliant, along with library management and controls to ensure that our knowledge-based systems are current and being used as designed.
