This is super important, I agree.

I've also had to create a Staging Area legacy-style page for my cards for App Studio so it's easy to find, edit, and replicate them. I don't prefer to build cards inside of App Studio, because they don't then seem to "live" anywhere inside my classic Domo instance and that can be a big admin headache.

Re: Netsuite Connector Message

Error: "Domo is ready, but you don't have access to the associated account. Please contact the account owner to have them share the account with you."

Cause:

Permissions Issue: The user does not have access to the NetSuite account linked to the Domo connector. This could happen if the account owner (the person who initially connected NetSuite to Domo) has not shared the account or granted the necessary permissions.

Solution….

Contact the Account Owner: The user should reach out to the owner of the NetSuite account (likely the person who set up the NetSuite connection in Domo). They need to share the connection with the user.

Account Sharing in Domo:
- The account owner should navigate to the Data Center in Domo.
- Find the specific NetSuite Connector being used.
- Share the connection by going to Accounts under the connector settings and adding the user.

Verify Permissions in NetSuite: Ensure that the user has the necessary permissions within NetSuite itself. This includes any roles or access rights that are required to pull data from NetSuite into Domo.

Re-authenticate (if necessary): If the sharing process doesn’t resolve the issue, the account owner may need to re-authenticate the NetSuite connection and re-share it.

Re: Date Range Selector with Calendar Days

Exposing the day of the week is a great idea, and build on thoughts I've routinely had that I would love to see some adjustments to the calendar/date-based filter.

It really doesn't function like any other tool in Domo, and I find it super cumbersome. As a workaround, sometimes I build date filters as dropdown menus with a selection picker (rather than range), but that lists all the dates New>Old or Old>New, and doesn't indicate min/max, etc. The min/max range filter card is a decent option because you see the dates displayed, but it's very hard to drag the slider to precisely the right point.

If anyone from Cards/product wants to talk through potential enhancements for the date range selector filter card, or just usage of date fields in general, please reach out.

This is because your beast mode is returning NULL for some records (where none of the conditions are met). You can filter out the NULLs and it will remove it from the chart.

Re: scheduled report - email header issue

@Jbrorby Is she able to see the report when opening the email, or is it just in the inbox preview? This appears to be an Outlook issue. Domo Scheduled Reports use HTML to display cards in the body of the email, which is consistent with the strings appearing in the emails.

I agree it would be nice to give blanket read only permission for these. It would also be great to have the ability to share individual DataFlows as read only. Given the new ability to share a DataFlow coming to beta soon, if it isn't already part of that sharing process, hopefully that wouldn't be a large additional lift.

Append a Dataset using Domo API

We are trying to append data to a dataset using the "Import data into DataSet" DataSet API Platform(OAuthAPI) documentation. https://developer.domo.com/portal/4ba1c85b30ae1-import-data-into-data-set

When we use end point "https://api.domo.com/v1/datasets/{dataset_id}/data?updateMethod=APPEND", it replaces the data in the dataset. I think this is by design.

Is there another endpoint that I should use to append a dataset?
