Re: How do I set up a connector for Lumar which uses GraphQL?
Custom Domo Connectors are written in the ES5 version of JavaScript.
Re: How do I set up a connector for Lumar which uses GraphQL?
There's three steps to configuring GraphQL
- Describe your data (schema)
- Ask for what you want (query)
- Process your data
Underneath the hood GraphQL is just like another API where you format a request, send your request and then process the data you get back from that request. The only difference is that you're defining what that data should look like rather than having the API tell you what the data looks like.
I'd recommend starting with to understand how the structure of your requests should be. Once you have that understood you can follow the developer.domo.com documentation for custom connectors to do authentication and do your requests.
Alternatively you can have a consultant write the custom connector for you.
Re: How do I set up a connector for Lumar which uses GraphQL?
You wouldn't necessarily need to create separate connectors but define different reports within your connector to allow users to select and handle those selections in your code to call the correct endpoint.
Re: Certification with Group Ownership
@Ashleigh I'd recommend logging a ticket with Domo Support. Certification should work with groups and I've successfully used them in the past. This sounds like a potential bug.
Re: Establishing a consistent ID using Rank and Window
You could potentially implement a recursive dataflow that would allow you to look for new records and then assign them new ids while keeping the ids that have already been created. I think an easier and more sustainable solution is to use your concactenation of the agency and advertiser names as your unique identifier downstream. This would hold up better when new agency and advertiser combinations come in.
Re: Scatter: How do I constrain bubble sizes?
I tried entering values into both of those boxes and didn't find that it did anything either. I would suggest e-mailing Domo Support as it seems like a bug.
