Re: Group by when using case statements?
@user046467 can you post a sample of what the dataset you have looks like? As Grant said, you can do a lot with Windows functions (or the Fixed function) but there are limitations for which pre-aggregating needs to happen at a ETL level, but without fully understanding what your data looks like, we're mostly guessing in the dark. (I fear there might be an easy answer we might be overlooking due to lack of insights on the data)
Re: Group by when using case statements?
This won't work in a beast mode as you can't aggregate (sum of total per reason) an aggregate (total per reason). You'd need to pre-aggregate the data in an ETL first and then do your final grouping in the card.
Re: Does a slicer work even if I'm using a sub dataset?
The slicer will filter your dataset if the field being used on the slicer exists in your dataset. As long as your subset dataset have the same field name that you're filtering it should work for you.
Re: Email Notifications to Users
@Ashleigh Are these users on a different Outlook server than the rest of your users? I've occasionally had issues with scheduled report emails not making it to external users too, and we've had to have their network admin whitelist the notifications@domo.com email address for them
Re: Email Notifications to Users
I have recently seen Domo e-mails being help up in our Exchange Server's Quarantine which require your IT admin do release them before they would even have the chance to show up in a user's Outlook. If your organization is using Office 365, this would be in the Office 365 Admin Center.
Re: Email Notifications to Users
Do you have any other firewalls in place or a spam server that might be filtering the emails? As @MichelleH and @MarkSnodgrass have mentioned it's typically a network issue that your IT team will need to get involved with as they can typically monitor the traffic and shed some more light on the missing emails.
