Re: Conditional Formatting Based On User
Currently this isn't possible but I'd recommend adding it to the Ideas Exchange to allow getting the logged in user's information.
Re: locks = locks?
Perhaps not the best way, but to your ETL that builds that DataSet, I'd add a calculated column that tells you the difference between the 2 values and another one that would just flag if the date is older than your threshold (in this case 7 days).
You'll have a formula tile in your ETL that will do both calculations, something like
IsOlderThanThreshold
CASE WHEN `PowerLenderLockDate` <= CURDATE() - Interval 7 Day THEN 'True' ELSE 'False' END
Delta
Rate_locks_powerlender - Rate_locks_powerseller
With this I'd then do the Alert as follows:
- Trigger Depends on whether your ETL does replace or append.
- Filters
- IsOlderThanThreshold equals True
- Delta is not equal to 0
This has the advantage that it won't only notify you when the entry 0 days ago is not 0, but whenever an older entry may stop being compliant. Hope this helps.
Re: Looking on a specific date
You can filter out anything newer than 1 week old using the following:
CASE WHEN `PowerSellerLockDate` < = CURRENT_DATE() - INTERVAL 1 WEEK THEN 'In' ELSE 'Out' END
Then apply the beastmode as a filter in the card.
If you want to filter the values in Magic ETL, use a filter tile and the following formula
`PowerSellerLockDate` < = CURRENT_DATE() - INTERVAL 1 WEEK
I don't know if that is the right date field to use, but just swap it out with whatever date field makes sense to use there.
Re: Is there a way to pass in a body to an HTTPS GET request within the Domo Connector IDE?
Does it accept a POST request instead of a GET request?
Re: Choosing the right chart
@donna_torrice I would suggest the Line + Grouped Bar chart type. By default cards only include one series as the line, but you can change that under Chart Properties > General > Series on Left Scale.
Re: Governance
The best way to do this is using the activity log. The activity log records almost every action a user makes inside Domo including card and page views. You can count the total occurences of `Action` = 'VIEWED' and Object_Type = 'CARD' or 'PAGE' depending on what exactly you are looking for. Here is an article with more information on the activity log:
Re: Governance
@TraceyRosado You can also use the Card Fields with Beast Modes report from the Domo Governance Connector to see which fields (measures) are being used in each card. Then you can join this to the Activity log as @colemenwilson suggestions to understand usage at the metric level
Domo comparison with ETL Tools
Does Domo has all capabilities which modern ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Informatica etc.
Re: How to Unpivot or Explode Variable-Length Lists in Domo to Flatten a Table?
There isn't really an explode option (csv column → rows) within Magic ETL. You can leverage a MySQL dataflow to help normalize the data. Code like may help you do this.
