Re: ETL Pane
Here's a link to an existing Idea Exchange post to create something like a block tile which may be similar:
Re: ETL Pane
@carthur , perhaps you could save an ETL that has your most common historical ETL groupings. Then you could reference this same ETL instead of searching for those that you think you've used the same grouping in the past. But yes, I agree with Michelle on the upvoting in the ideas exchange.
Re: ETL Pane
@carthur This is not currently an option, but I've seen this suggested in the Ideas Exchange. I recommend upvoting those posts to get some more attention behind the idea.
Re: Analyzer Data
It appears you're using the Last_Production_Date as the date field in your date picker but you're filtering in your ETL based on Order_Completion_Date. Do these end up being the same data or are they different? If they're different you can try and drag the Order_Completion_Date field into your analyzer to force the date picker to use that field and then remove it.
Re: Calculating Distance In Magic ETL
You will want to change your join since you are comparing it to the same data set. Here is how I typically do it to get a row for every combination.
Use the add constants tile to create a column called JoinKey and set it to a value of 1. Do that twice. Connect them to the join tile and join on the JoinKey with an inner join. Rename columns so that you have your first and second coordinates. You will then have a row for each combination and then you can use your distance function.
Re: Issue with Beastmode
You can't aggregate your data three times. Try taking out the SUM(`Loads`) in favor of just `Loads`. Same thing for the carrier pay field.
Also another alternative to DATE_FORMAT(CURRENT_DATE(), '%Y') is just YEAR(CURRENT_DATE())
Re: End of query request - what is wrong
Since your invoice number field is a string you need to use strings in your IN clause. You can do this by putting them in single quotes
SELECT *
FROM CHARGE_DETAIL
WHERE INVOICE_NUMBER IN ('217653436',
'217668183',
'819802440',
'820092602')
Re: Filter by Section of Dataset (Bonus point question!)
You could create a new column that concatenates "Section" and "State" and filter based on that, using the "Fixed" calculations to calculate percent increase. CONCAT(Section, State). Then you can filter on "A-Texas", "B-North Carolina", and "C-Kansas".
