Re: How to locate the new Install file for 'Domo's Powerpoint plug-in' ?
Hey RTData, exactly what MichellH said. I just recently downloaded myself. The outlook plug in for email has become an essential and the powerpoint add is simple to refresh your visualizations without having to manually export or take snapshots. From Admin you can just scroll down to bottom of page to tool downloads.

@RTData Yes, you will need the Domo for Office Add-in. You can find the link in your instance under Admin > More > Tool Downloads.
Re: Organize values on X-Axis
Yeah it is because the values are case sensitive. So in the beastmode it doesn't find a match for "Senior Managers" because the "M" is capitalized in the case statement but not in the data, so it places it in position 7 from the ELSE part of the statement. A great way to protect against this is to wrap the values in LOWER() and then type out the text values as all lowercase.
CASE WHEN LOWER(`split_detail`) = 'ceo' THEN 1
WHEN LOWER(`split_detail`) = 'head of business' THEN 2
WHEN LOWER(`split_detail`) = 'key management personnel (kmp)' THEN 3
WHEN LOWER(`split_detail`) = 'other executives/general managers' THEN 4
WHEN LOWER(`split_detail`) = 'senior managers' THEN 5
WHEN LOWER(`split_detail`) = 'other managers' THEN 6
ELSE 7 END
One other suggestion would be to change the chart type to be a 100% stacked bar since you are comparing two % values that will always sum to 100%. Line charts are typically used to show trends over time.
Re: Beast Mode is valid but does not print all options, how can I fix it?
The way it is written, you are trying to SUM the string '12 month'. That won't work very well. With these types of case statements that are giving me a problem, I try to break it into smaller chunks and make sure that it is returning a value that I expect, and then paste that statement into the larger one.
Try making a beast mode of this section:
SUM((CASE WHEN (DATEDIFF(date,published_date) >329 AND DATEDIFF(date,published_date) <=359) THEN '12 Month' END))
and see what values it returns and then make the necessary changes to this one and then add it back to your larger statement.
Re: Is there a way to control the colors in a Lat/long map for a series of values?
Currently there isn't an option for this however I'd recommend logging an idea in the Idea Exchange for others to vote on it and perhaps have Domo add it.
