Ability to share filter view with a specific person and not to everyone
Give the capacity to share filter view to a specific person / group.
Today, either we have the option to not share it at all or to share it with everyone.
It creates useless noise for users. Having the capacity to share filter to only the needed users, would help the user experience.
Adding Subpages to Company Pages
When adding a new subpage to a parent page, it is very easy to go to the navigation menu and click on Manage Dashboards and then click "Add a sub-Dashboard" under the parent page where I want the new page to exist. However, if the parent page is part of the Company Pages, those pages are not shown in this list. I have to click Add a Dashboard and create the page, then go to Admin Settings -> Pages and find the new page, select it and choose Move and select the parent page that I want it to exist under.
It seems like Admins should have the ability to directly add a subpage to a parent page through the navigation menu since they have the rights to manage pages and not have to follow two different processes when adding a subpage to a parent page.
Smart Text as a Variable
At the card level it would be beneficial to know what the current operating environment is for a card and leverage that information in a beast mode.
For example, if there were a "system variable" that stored what the current "Graph By" selection is, like what is already available in Smart Text, then you could have a beast mode that is responsive to that selection.
Re: Improve Readability for Long Column Headers in Color Rules Dialog
This is needed in various other dropdowns like the Save As for cards, dataset selection etc. Any dropdown for dataset or dashboard selection should be much wider. For dashboard dropdowns, the dialog could wrap by separating the names of each sub-dashboard onto a new row underneath the top dashboard.
Domo Enhancements - Product Announcements
Product Announcements: New ways to communicate with our Domo end users would be helpful – announcement style that can be branded and custom. Ability to do product announcements, product communications, other announcements via Domo using specific Domo groups or people. Don’t want them to interact with the message (like Buzz) and want it to be more formal and branded and pop up on their screen.
Move axis to left/right, top/bottom
I would like the option to select which side of the graph I want my axis label on.
Saw this in a LinkedIn post from Christopher Chin. Couldn’t figure out how to share the whole post here
Domo Enhancement - Hide Fields from End Users
Hide Fields from End Users: Need the ability to allow fields to be hidden from the end users view and also hide the ability to interact with those fields. This is different from column PDP in that these would be for fields we need as analysts to calculate, sort, create beast modes, etc. but they would generally just confuse end users or be incorrectly used as filters, etc.
- An example: with aggregated datasets would be summing up different counts of employees to create % calculations. An end user might see one of those fields and interpret it incorrectly, etc. but analysts need it.
Domo Enhancement - OR Filter
OR Filter: Need the ability to use an OR on page filters. If we wanted to be able to filter such as “Manager = X OR Division = W” there is currently no way to look at them together without a custom beast mode or a custom report. Need the ability to do custom filters that would allow for an OR statement that is customer facing.
Domo Enhancement - Reordering Filters
Reordering Filters: If we want filters to be in logical order but need to add a new one, we have to remove all filters and add them back in. Would like to drag them around to put them in the right spot and have them save in that order for all users.
Domo Enhancements - Reordering Variables
Reordering Variables: If we want variable values to be in logical order but need to add a new one, we have to remove all values and add them back in. Would like to drag them around to put them in the right spot.
