Re: DOMO Connector for google sheets not working correctly
Hi @user019029, how did you go with this?
It could be that in the Domo connector settings, under 'Advanced Options' or similar, make sure you have selected the correct range of data.

Day on Day Change Issue
Hi,
I am trying to calculate the day on day changes of campaign activities (i.e. Sends, Receipts). The problem experienced is restricting the unique counts to one day because the code I've been using includes some records of the previous day. Depending on the time of viewing the domo cards, it takes the record of 24hrs from the time of viewing (which is not necessarily 24 hrs of the entire day). I've been using date_format, specifically:
(COUNT(DISTINCT
CASE
WHEN DATE_FORMAT(`campaign_schedule_date_local`, '%Y%m%d') = DATE_FORMAT(DATE_SUB(CURDATE('%Y%m%d'), INTERVAL 0 Day),'%y%m%d') AND `media_booking_type` <> 'Sample' AND (`campaign_status` = 'Scheduled' OR `campaign_status` = 'Sent')
THEN `campaign_id`
END))
I want to see if using time_format is able to restrict the timeframe for representing daily changes to the exact day (i.e. Up until 23:59:59) but have not been able to see any values return from the code when changing from date_format to time_format. Could you please advise?
Any help is appreciated. Cheers

Re: Day on Day Change Issue
Hey, sorry if not made clear.
At the moment, depending on when the user views the cards, some of the records that make up the overall DoD value are from the previous day and some from the current day. So for DoD, I want to take the records up to '23:59:59' for each day, creating an internal day view.

Re: Day on Day Change Issue
Thanks dthierjung for the write-up. I'll have a look tomorrow to see if using the previous day calculation to get the internal day value works for me, and report any futher updates that I may notice. The dataset 'campaign_schedule_date_local' just has date.

Re: PDP tied to user?
Let's go step by step to determine if there was a step missing.
When you are in the 'PDP' section of your dataset, and you click on the 'Impact' button, are there clear differences in the outcomes outlined by Domo (i.e. Messages outlining what is being applied to limit the data) or does both your policies created say "Your current PDP policies on this DataSet will not have any affect on your Domo resources"?
Also, do you see this button next to 'Enable PDP'?
https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/article_attachments/360059655973/disable_pdp.pngIf not, then enable the policy to be applied to your dataset.

Re: PDP tied to user?
Sorry for any confusion in my last paragraph, I was trying to establish if there was any way of seeing the difference in policy settings on the 'PDP' section before you looked at Page 1 and 2.
So Page 1 and 2 have the exact same cards but you've applied a filter(s) on the data columns for Page 1 only, correct?
I believe this is a situation where someone will need to see you do the steps in your Domo view and then be able to troubleshoot because while your breakdown of scenario is clear, it is hard to pinpoint issues without seeing what is actually happening in your Domo.
Perhaps while your question is being looked at by others here, it is worth also raising a ticket to Domo Support [https://domo-support.domo.com/] so that they can organise a screen-share session to view your steps and work.

Re: Shouldn't a co-owner of a data set have the same permissions for that data set as an owner?
Hi @user015090, it's worth checking the role of that user in 'Governance'. I know that 'Admin' roles can be able to revert data back to a previous update but double check on the other roles such as:
'Privileged', 'Editor' or 'Credential Owner'
on whether one of the actions that can be seen when the user goes to Dataset -> History -> Action (Spanner symbol) is 'Revert to this point'.
