Re: Turn on/off Magic ETL tiles
This is an idea I've been deeply interested in as well, as a heavy Magic user myself. I do have it on my backlog, but with this additional signal, I will review this with the team again. Thank you for surfacing this!
I have a lot of ideas along this vein, including better commenting in general, grouping/boxing of tiles together, markup on the canvas etc.
Re: Keep beast mode field calculated on total value when filtered
You are going to want to add a fixed function into your beast mode. Look at this KB article on how to do it, specifically the Filter None section.

Re: Bell Curve - Large Data
I'm not sure about using a histogram. I'd use a bar chart. Note - my fake data does not exactly match yours. :)
Creating SizeAsInteger with the formula : CAST(RIGHT(Size, 3) AS Integer)
You can create bins (show above). Which seems customary for histograms and sizing.
Re: Facebook Ads Advanced Connector
I saw someone else ask the same question as they are experiencing the same issue. I would recommend creating a support ticket as Domo might need to look at their API connection and see if something changed.
Re: Is it possible to batch edit source data?
@hanmari try appending '?_f=dataRepair' to the end of the dataset URL (so it would look something like this: https://{{instance}}.domo.com/datasources/987da1fb-0b5e-493d-85a0-fe8b10136cf4/details/overview?_f=dataRepair).
You can then download the dataset as a csv, clean it in Excel, and then reupload it using the 'Replace with CSV' button.
Re: Date Range - Last 3 mo compared to same months last year.
@MarkSnodgrass That was extremely helpful! Thank you so much!
Re: Sort Table based on What was first selected in Filter
Whatever helps you get an adequate solution. If I were tackling this as a problem of my own, I would try to explore using more than one dataset. Something that builds a dataset that acts as the sort order for the other. Grant is a much better source to give guidance on this.
Re: Bar Graph Sorting
In the Chart Properties under General, set Sort On Totals to descending. This will make your chart group by the overall total and not the individual items.
Re: Beastmode Error - An issue has occurred during processing.
Hmm…
• Make sure all parentheses are properly closed and all function names are correctly spelled.
• Make sure the data fields you're referencing exist in your dataset and are named correctly.
• Make sure Current Week Index is a valid reference.
• Division by Zero: Make sure denominators are not zero, as division by zero is undefined. This could happen if there are no orders in the specified weeks. Possible use of coalesce when conditions are null.
• Check if the conditions used in your SUM functions are correctly filtering the data for the weeks you're using.
Re: Beastmode Error - An issue has occurred during processing.
What is the error message you are getting? Can you share mock data with the columns you have and what the calculation would be if you perform it manually? The reason I'm asking is that you have nested aggregation functions (SUM of a SUM) without any window clause (OVER or FIXED) which is odd, so perhaps the formula could be simplified once we understand what the desired calculation is explained in words with an example.
