Re: Magic ETL | Remove Duplicates Tile | Select all fields option
This is a good idea, and something I've heard a few times now. I will be reviewing with my team. I think it would also be nice to have this same feature on any tile where you have the option to select columns.
PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Sandbox and Publish Community Post
As an active Community member perk, we will be providing insider sneak peeks for the features we will be releasing on Wednesday May 22nd 🥳
A little bit about App Studio: App Studio is a no code, drag-and-drop interface that enables anyone to create their own customized app experience with all the data, power, and capabilities of the Domo platform. This includes writeback capabilities, custom navigation, custom layouts, themes, actions, forms, and more.
Two new enhancements are going to be available to App Studio this month! We’re adding Sandbox and Domo Everywhere capabilities.
Sandbox: When creating a new repository in Sandbox, you can now select App Studio apps. Now you can prepare everything directly in production environments before releasing it for broader use ensuring that everything runs perfectly, without hiccups or downtime.
Domo Everywhere: In March, we released App Studio Embed Integration for our Domo Everywhere users. This month we are releasing the App Studio Publish integration! Customers can create a publication directly from within their apps and publish the content to subscriber organizations. A subscriber organization can subscribe to publications individually, as invited or auto-subscribe to receive all publications that come from a trusted publishing organization.
@Ken_Boyer is my Product Manager over Domo Everywhere and can chime in and help answer any questions. @Matt Tannyhill and @Khushboo can also chime in from an App Studio perspective.
Please note these features are subject to change and could lead to a delay in its deployment for an unknown amount of time.
Re: Filtering inside a DDX Brick
I don't know anything about Javascript but have you considered filtering the data through an ETL/Dataset View to current month data if that is all you need for the DDX brick?
Interested in learning how to use Domo Workflows?
Domo University has just released a new Getting Started with Workflows self-paced training course! In the course, Dan Hendriksen, Director of Product Enablement guides learners through an introduction to the Workflows interface, toolset, and best practices by walking through the creation of 3 real-world Workflows that can be deployed in your own instance. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills needed to build your own Workflows to automate tasks and orchestrate actions through Domo.

Re: Google sheet date format
@vaco I have not had that issue with the Google Sheets connector before. Do you have data validation rules set up on your date field in Google Sheets to ensure it is all stored as a datetime?
Re: can you include "rescind" policy status as well for the above risk classes?
@benm_2000 Is there a policy status column in your dataset? If so, you can drag it from the Dimension section of Analyzer to the chart columns to include it in your card.
However if you are unsure, your best bet is to ask whoever requested this change for some clarification on what specifically they are looking for. If there is business logic that needs to be applied then we can help you translate that.
Re: Lag() function for previous value over unpredictable rows counts of each partition
@ColemenWilson I realize now my blunder in replicating your perfect solution.
Apologies for the extra work there. I made a copy of the ETL from scratch using your solution, and it worked. I went back to the original and realized I had messed up the Rank and Window, by Ordering the function on Quarter instead of MonthYear .
Thank you once again. I see you're in UT, I used to work for BEN Labs up there. Look them up if you ever want a change of scenery from Henry Schein (I looked you up, impressive stuff ;) ).
I wish I could buy you a beer as a thank you!
Re: PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Column Masking Beta
LOVE THIS!! @JoshMillheim I know I will have so much feedback so I apologize in advance!

PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Column Masking Beta
As an active Community member perk, we will be providing insider sneak peeks for the features we will be releasing on Wednesday May 22nd 🥳
Previously, Data Administrators had to create and manage multiple versions of the same datasets to accommodate different audiences to protect sensitive data. In some cases, even just one sensitive column in a table will be enough to force and admin to create a separate version of that table.
Our new Column Masking feature will be live in Beta this month! This allows Data Administrators to scale significantly by reducing the number of dataset copies that are needed to create. Instead, you can reuse a single dataset for many different audiences – all without compromising on data integrity or security (of course).
Users can selectively hide values within a dataset from being visible to audiences by creating a policy for how data should be masked, then assign that policy to any number of columns. Masking policies can be used to redact values entirely, to hash out, or even mask all but the first or last characters.
@JoshMillheim is my Product Manager over this feature and can chime in with additional details and answer any questions.
Please note these features are subject to change and could lead to a delay in its deployment for an unknown amount of time.
