Re: How do i fill in the date gaps?
@Tina_Alpaca I created a video on how to do this in Magic ETL. You can watch it here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iNpzSL5V6U
Hope this helps.
Re: How do i fill in the date gaps?
You can utilize Magic ETL and the Domo Dimensions connector.
Using the Domo Dimensions connector pull in the calendar dataset.
Feed that into a magic ETL, add a constant call 'Join Column' for a value of 1.
Then use your dataset as an input, add a constant 'Join Column' with a value of 1 to this dataset as well in the ETL.
Then do a join between both add constant tiles based on the join column. Feed that into a filter tile and filter with a formula where the dt column from the Calendar dataset is between your start and end dates.
`dt` BETWEEN `Start Date` AND `End Date`
This will then expand your data so that you have your record for each day between your time range.
Re: Set the default value of date type Variable to current date or today's date
I would relly urgently need this functionality for a customer project,
and specifically I would need to have the possibilty to select the current month or week 😃
please 🙏
Thank you very much!
Re: Can we save / export the projection data as a dataset in Domo Analyzer Cards?
@arnabm Unfortunately, this is not currently an option in the UI. My recommendation would be to submit a post to the Ideas Exchange as Product Feedback for others in the community to upvote the idea of having an exported dataset containing the projections.
If you haven't posted there before, check this post out https://dojo.domo.com/main/discussion/54846/new-to-the-ideas-exchange-read-this-first#latest
Re: Domo Buzz and Dashbaoard Panel Opens for the first time
Hi @faisalnjit, unfortunately on an admin level, the functionality to disable that buzz popup is not yet available.
An option is to ask Domo support to disable buzz entirely for the organization.

Re: Antithesis Filtering on Dashboard
I agree with @MarkSnodgrass - I would attempt this with variables. Create a variable with your full project list. Then create a calculated field for "Selected Project".
case when variable = `ProjectName` then 'Selected' else 'Not Selected' end
When you build your cards, you would use two different filters, one filtered for 'Selected' and one for 'Not Selected'
Hope that makes sense.
Re: Lead Function in Rank and Window Returning Self Referencing Value
Just to clarify, but is StudentIndex always populated and is it unique for each partition?
Re: Using date filter as input for Beastmode calculated field
@BenjaminPapes It was worth a shot at least. Another option would be to create a global variable where the user can select a year to replace the max date like this:
sum(case when YEAR(`Sales_Date`) = `Year_Variable` then `Sales` else 0 end)
Re: Business days between date function
Hi @LCash
Here's a simplified version for calculating the number of business days since today without using the WEEK function:
-- Calculate the number of actual days between the two dates DATEDIFF(CURRENT_DATE(), `date_start`) -- Subtract the days of weekends between the two dates - DATEDIFF(CURRENT_DATE() + INTERVAL (1 - DAYOFWEEK(CURRENT_DATE())) DAY, `date_start` + INTERVAL (1 - DAYOFWEEK(`date_start`)) DAY) / 7 * 2 -- If we start on a Sunday remove the partial week start - (CASE WHEN DAYOFWEEK(`date_start`) = 1 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) -- If we end on a Saturday remove the partial end of the week. - (CASE WHEN DAYOFWEEK(CURRENT_DATE()) = 7 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)
