Are you referring to Scheduled Reports? Or dataset updates?
Scheduled Reports can be sent daily, weekly or monthly.
Standard datasets (connectors) can be updated as often as every 15 minutes.
Federated data or dataset views are an exception and the data is updated in real-time.
Lastly, you could have duplicate datasets that run in alternating 15 minute schedules and then de-duplicate in a dataflow. This would lead to data updates every 7-8 minutes.

Saw your comment on my YouTube video. Glad you are finding them helpful. You can do what you want by creating two beast modes. One for the Male % and one for the Female %. They would look like this:
Male %
SUM(Male) / (SUM(Male) + SUM(Female))
Female %
SUM(Female) / (SUM(Male) + SUM(Female))
You would then drag them into your chart like in my screenshot below and format them to percentage. You can also change the data label so that your legend gives a proper display name.

You should be able to achieve this by using a Variable (most likely 2) to enter the range start and end, and then building a BeastMode which you'll use for filtering. If your Variables are called RangeStart and RangeEnd, then your BeastMode would look something like:
CASE WHEN SUM(`Spend`) >= `RangeStart` AND SUM(`Spend`) <= `RangeEnd` THEN 'true' ELSE 'false' END
And you'll add that filter criteria using the equals to 'true'.
