Re: using IF then WHEN
you can use AND to combine logcal expressions together if both should be true or OR if one needs to be true. Alternatively you can add an additional WHEN clause to your case statement to do something diffferent:
CASE WHEN `primary class` = 'supermarkets and grocery stores' THEN SUM(CASE WHEN `Split answer` = 'Female' THEN `` ELSE 0 END) / SUM(`Value`) WHEN `primary class` = 'some other store' THEN SUM(`some other logic`) END
Re: View as user or view as role
As an admin and the person responsible for an overall positive Domo user experience, this is an imperative management feature.
I intentionally laid out the sub-page order for a deployment to a group of 10 users.
The page order had intentional logic to support adoption. My directions referenced the page order.
Weeks later I learned that each user got the pages in a completely randomized order.
Many of my administration challenges come down to "I cannot see what you are seeing"

Re: View as user or view as role
@JordanJensen Those jobs all look correct to me.
The security aspect is a fair note. I think in this regard, the key word is View. I would think that in the view as experience, you would have READ access to cards and dashboards, no create update or delete privileges as the other user. Possibly a blend of restrictions could be considered where the MOST restrictive of the two users policies would take effect. I think this would be a Superuser / Instance Admin type of grant to be able to use such a tool.
I think in my experience as Majordomo, I was looking for what falls under the User Experience bullets.
Re: View as user or view as role
As a Domo admin I can see everything anyway so I am not sure why it would be a security issue. Agree with @JasonAltenburg that it should be a grant related to the admin role.
Re: Dynamic Currency Symbol Formatting
There are only 4 currency symbols available on Domo cards. If Domo could add more symbols, like Korean won ₩, it would be epic. There are so many currency symbols in the world, and I would like to hand-pick them in my Domo instance. Also, there are quite a few other dollars aside from USD, like A$ (AUD), C$ (CAD), and S$ (SGD).

Re: What is going on with "Other" in a bar chart?
I can reproduce the error. Jones01 is not using "limit rows", they are using "Max items" in the general settings. I would agree this appears to be a bug in how the tooltip is aggregated for "other" bars.
@Jones01 Until they resolve this bug, you could do something similar (but more manual) by creating a rank column in magic ETL, and then you could group based on that rank using a BeastMode (or formula tile).
Re: Changing Date Format in Period over Period Additional Text
That is a definite shortcoming. That would be worth submitting as an enhancement request to allow for date formatting.
In the meantime, I think you can still get your card to work by using the tooltip fields. Create a couple beast modes that have the dates that you want in the format you want and put them in tooltip fields 1 and 2. Then reference those in the additional text options.
Re: I need syntax help. Bit of a newbie trying to teach themselves IF/LIKE/OR
Good troubleshooting. Quick tip: since you're using IN, you could simplify it down to a list instead of a bunch of ORs:
WHEN `model` IN ('%F 250%', '%F-250%', '%F250%', '%F-350%', '%F350%')
THEN 110
When `Actual bid 2` > 2500 THEN 120
ELSE 110
