Re: How to connect two cards.
I think you posted the same question twice. Cards are linked by a dataset's common fields. If you first create a card with your data, then make a separate "filter" card….make sure you use the same dataset. And make sure the field used on your filter also appears on the other card. When you select a value on the filter card, the other card will filter to the same selection.
(You can separate that interaction so that they do not affect each other. As well as doing more complex interactions.)
Re: Forward Filling using ETL/ Without Python tile
You'll need an ETL, since you need to generate additional rows.
Re: PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Alert sending Schedule Reports
This combination can be super powerful. It automates the monitoring and alerting that keeps you prepared before coming into a meeting where the scheduled report is reviewed. You are always aware of issues before the review takes place.
Re: WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU: Where do you go for information for and help with Domo?
For me I start with KB articles. If I am still stuck I go to the Domo Community forums. And lastly I go to my CSM and/or AE.
Re: Starting Day of the Week - Monday
@Zel I second @david_cunningham's recommendation about a fiscal calendar. If this is only a requirement for this card, then I suggest creating a beast mode to transform your date field to the most recent Monday to use for your series like this:
case when DAYNAME = 'Sunday' then DATE_SUB(`Date`,interval 6 day) else `Date` - DAYOFWEEK(`Date`) + 2 end
Re: Starting Day of the Week - Monday
If this is going to be a consistent, recurring use-case. I.e. you’re going to want other cards to replicate the same behavior. I’d recommend using the fiscal calendar option in Domo. When setting it up you’ll be able to specify your week start date.
You can then either toggle that setting on/off to use your Monday start date or the default.

Re: Domo API to import files to domo
Yeah, let's see if we can get this sorted out.
Are you having trouble with:
1.) The aggregating of data in python?
2.) The uploading of files?
3.) The appending of data?
…or all three of the above items?
Could you send a screenshot of what you have so far? This might be a larger task than a simple answer, but we'll see what we can get done for you!
Re: Adding a new dataset after creating a Custom App
It looks like Domo doesn't know of the alias for "Users".
The issue might just be with the uploaded manifest to Domo. You need to make sure that the manifest in the build file has been updated as well.
I can also hop on a call with you and see if we can debug this if that doesn't work.
Please 💡/💖/👍/😊 this post if you read it and found it helpful.
Please accept the answer if it solved your problem.
Re: Embed dashboards available for student accounts?
I believe so, and if it isn't you could sign up for a Domo Freemium account where it would be:
But here is where to look in your current instance:
