Re: How to use programmatic filter with domo
What values are you attempting to filter on? Are you using the correct column name?
Re: How to use programmatic filter with domo
Have you tried URL encoding your pfilters since you're using IFrames? You can use a website like https://www.urlencoder.org to easily convert it for you.
Re: Can you prevent the MySQL connector from locking its source table while syncing?
Hi @hanmari
This issue doesn’t necessarily relate to the connector but how MySQL handles database reads. Whenever you need to read from the database it will issue a lock to prevent the data from changing until it finishes reading all the data it needs. Are you using a database user which has write access as well? It might be causing a exclusive lock until it finishes since it can read and write. You might try a read only user to pull your data instead as you should be able to have multiple read locks occur simultaneously
Re: Join in Domo
Glad I could help! If you could make sure to mark it as an accepted answer so others can easily find this I'd appreciate it!
Re: Join in Domo
No it should work in ETL1 or 2 using the Replace Text tile. You just need to make sure to put the regex in the search and $1 in the replace and make sure you click the gear in the search field and select Use RegEx
Re: Getting a Sum of Values for X Days When There are Gaps in the Dates
Hi @RobB
Are you wanting 30 days prior to the current date or from the date of the row?
You might be able to filter your data (using a formula tile and ETL2.0 with a case statement to check if it's less than 30 days ago - alternatively you can calculate 30 days ago from the current date using a date time and then filter your dataset where your Date field is greater than the calculated 30 days ago date in ETL 1.0), group your data to get the total sales and then divide the total sales by 30 to get your 30 day average.
The other option is to to a cartesian join of all your dates and SKUs so you have one record for each SKU & date, then left join your dataset to this dataset to fill in the missing dates, use the window function to get the last 30 days. This will drastically increase the number of records you need to process and will affect execution time but should handle your issue if you're looking for a rolling 30 day average.
Re: Comparitve Gauge Last Week Vs This Week
Hi @Mike_Shrift
What specific issues are you having with the values? Without understanding the problem it's hard to help fix it.
Whenever I'm doing Period over Period analysis I utilize a custom date dimension table to help identify this week vs last week for example. I've outlined this process before in the dojo here: A more flexible way to do Period over Period comparisons
Re: Running Total Year over Year
@Derreck - No. Window functions aren't supported in the formula tile in ETL 2.0. You can use the Rank and Window tile though to do the same thing.
Re: Delete User API
Do they own anything else besides a dataset like a view, fusion or dataflow?
Have you tried utilizing the CLI tool and the swap-owner command to try and swap anything they might have over to a new user?

Re: How do I use workbench to Writeback to MS SQL?
Hi @dprince
You can't use workbench to write back to MS SQL. It's only to pull data from the defined sources. There doesn't appear to be a writeback tile to use for MS SQL either but only Postgres, Maria and MySQL databases.
