Re: How to add percentage in the pivot table?
Have you had your Customer Success Manager switch on the feature for Window Function in your instance?

Re: Beast Mode Calculation Subtotal/Total
Subtotals would be the same issue where it's summing the values after the beast mode has done the calculations for the individual percentages. You'd need to calculate those subtotals in an ETL and stack them as well.
Re: Beast Mode Calculation Subtotal/Total
Hi @Shumilex
You'll need to run your data through an ETL to calculate the totals for the dataset then append that row to your original dataset. You'd call the agent name "Grand Total". You can then add a beast mode to return 1 if it's not Grand Total and 2 if it is Grand Total and then sort by that then the agent name to make sure it's put at the bottom.
Re: TOP5
Because how domo interprets data you need to wrap your aggregate in another aggregate - Domo will run your initial window function but then will aggregate again if you have other sorting or grouping in your card and gets confused when you only have a single aggregate (returns values for each row but can't aggregate those row level values as it's not defined and you can't select it in the column drop down like other fields because it thinks you already have an aggregate in your beast mode).
Try SUM(SUM(1)) OVER ... instead.
Re: Please I need help with setting up a retention chart
Hi @Johnson
Your beast modes are calculating the difference between when they 100th api call happend to today. Not necessarily time between API calls so when you're calculating metrics you're seeing a higher number for future months instead of the first month.
Assuming you have multiple records / dates for each customer you an get the first 100 api call ate utilizing a window function and then calculate the difference between that date and the second 100 API call date.
MIN(MIN(`dt_api_request`)) OVER (PARTITION BY `userid`)
CASE When DATEDIFF(MIN(MIN(`dt_api_request`)) OVER (PARTITION BY `userid`), `dt_api_request_100`) > 30 AND DATEDIFF(MIN(MIN(`dt_api_request`)) OVER (PARTITION BY `userid`), `dt_api_request_100`) < 60 Then 'Within 2nd month' end
Window functions are a feature switch - talk with your CSM if you don't have it enabled already.
Re: Is there an easy way to calculate the days left in the month to insert in a Beast Mode equation?
@B_Fullenkamp beat me to it. I'd recommend his method with a slight tweak to properly handle the last day of the month:
CASE WHEN LAST_DAY(CURDATE()) = DAYOFMONTH(CURDATE()) THEN 0 ELSE (SUM(`Goal`) - SUM(`Production`)) / (DAYOFMONTH(LAST_DAY(CURDATE())) - DAYOFMONTH(CURDATE()) END
Re: Need Similar Column names for different connectors
Hi @swap700
You might try looking into the new Dataset Views to append/union your datasets together. You can also use it to rename columns.
https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046074774-DataSet-Views
The data needs to be of similar types. My question is what are you trying to solve by getting these IDs in the same column? Are you wanting to combine all of the similar information into a single dataset and ignore the rest?
Re: Help with Beast Mode field please!
Hi @reichner015
How is your underlying data formatted? Is your data broke out by month or by quarter or day?
Re: Email Connector unable to find link in automated email, but can find link in forwarded email
Hi @RichardC
My guess is that when the email is being automatically sent its just sending the URL as text and not a link itself. When you're forwarding the email your mail client then helpfully makes the URL into a link which Domo can then find. There isn't a simple way to fix this unless you can get the email to send an attachment or actually make it a link.
Re: Beastmode | Exclude data based on dates
Hi @user046467
Are you filtering for 'include' values or excluding 'exclude' values?
If you're checking for only include values anything prior to 2021-07-01 won't be found because you don't have an else clause to mark it as include (it's returning NULL). How do you want this to behave for records prior to 2021-07-01? Should they all be ignored? Should they be included along with company1 and product1 records?
Have you tried putting your beast mode into a table along with the date, company and conversiontypename fields to make sure the logic is correct? Have you tried breaking down your logic into separate beast modes to determine which part might be incorrect?
