Re: Closed Group Owner - grant to add/remove members?
Hi @Jessica, what role is your user currently? I know that being 'Admin' means you can add and remove users from closed groups even if you don't own the groups.
Also, even though that user has been added as a group owner, s/he can't see that they are owner of that group but in your Domo view, you can see that person is owner?

Re: Shouldn't a co-owner of a data set have the same permissions for that data set as an owner?
Hi @user015090, it's worth checking the role of that user in 'Governance'. I know that 'Admin' roles can be able to revert data back to a previous update but double check on the other roles such as:
'Privileged', 'Editor' or 'Credential Owner'
on whether one of the actions that can be seen when the user goes to Dataset -> History -> Action (Spanner symbol) is 'Revert to this point'.

Re: PDP tied to user?
Hi @Jessica, PDPs can be applied to both users and groups. Have you looked through this article: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042934614-Creating-and-Deleting-PDP-Policies? It outlines step by step on how to create your policies, and it includes an example scenario to help with segmenting how certain data appears for certain users.

Re: Beast Mode Validated but not working
Hi @beatricetan21, the error is occurring because there's an aggregate function (i.e. SUM) on top of another aggregate function (i.e. SUM or COUNT DISTINCT), which isn't possible to process in a beast mode.
What you should do is set up your two SUM and one COUNT DISTINCT portions as 3 separate calculations before Analyzer (for example, as a calculated field in the ETL [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044258533-Writing-Formulas-in-the-New-Magic-ETL]) and then write your beast mode using the newly created measures.

Re: What TYPE of post should I make?
@Anna Yardley If you could add the ability for a user to change a topic to a question after they posted, that would be extremely useful. So often, people start a topic when they intended to start a question and they don't have the ability to mark an answer as accepted. If you can give them the ability to change their post from a topic to a question so that they can mark a response as an accepted answer, that would be great.
Re: How to calculate rolling 30 days of DateA occurring from DateB
You can accomplish this with the DATEDIFF() function, which calculates the number of days between two dates. Example:
DATEDIFF(`DateA`,`DateB`)
To count how many are within 30 you would add a CASE statement around this, like this:
CASE WHEN DATEDIFF(`DateA`,`DateB`) <= 30 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END
Re: What TYPE of post should I make?
This has to be mandatory reading for every new user or returning users after a long absence.

Re: Deleting a batch
If you go to the Data Center and then click on your dataset and then go to the History tab, you have the ability to delete different updates by clicking on the wrench on the right side.
Re: Calculated field doesn't respect parentheses in arithmetic expressions?
Hi @DavidLee, I can comment on why this would be happening when one wants to display the arithmetic expression result in a 'Single Value' chart. Domo defaults to expressing a value as a sum, and so selecting any other option would return the expected result.

Re: SQL Row size too large
If it wouldn't be a lot of work to pull your data in between tables, you can split your dataset.
Another workaround is to change anywhere you have from varchar to text data type.
Or you can increase the value of the innodb_log_file_size (https://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/5.6/en/news-5-6-20.html#mysqld-5-6-20-innodb).
