Re: Why Is the Pivot Tile not Working as I Expected
There isn't, but you could reduce the available data on the pivot table card using filters or pre-aggregate the data in an ETL.
Re: How can I set up a graph to show period over period data in a dynamic way?
@hollyrene1225 - I recommend restructuring your data so that you have multiple periods within the same dataset. I've done several writeups on this and it allows you to show multiple periods on the same graph. You can find more information on how to do this here:
Re: How can I set up a graph to show period over period data in a dynamic way?
Agreed with @Data_Devon ! Period over period chart types are the way to go
Re: How can I set up a graph to show period over period data in a dynamic way?
Hi hollyrene1225. Have you looked into the "Period over Period" chart types? They are mostly plug and play, so you wouldn't need to do any cooking in Magic ETL - just select the chart and you are off to the races.
You could also look at a bar chart with a line added - again, mostly plug and play.
Is that what you are looking for?
Re: How to re-subscribe a Domo emailed report recipient
@elvira_bannon Once a recipient unsubscribes from a scheduled report, they cannot be added back to that specific schedule. You will have to create a new instance of the report schedule by choosing the "Schedule as Report" option from the card/dashboard you want to sent and reconfigure the original schedule with that person as a recipient.
Re: Pivot table values on row or column
Not being able to choose how values are displayed is especially clunky when paired with the fact that dates can only be natively grouped (using "Graph by") as a column, not a row. It makes it challenging to display information concisely without having to scroll
Re: File connector to upload file by file name, not id?
Hi @dianemairet ,
Your best bet is probably to use Domo Workbench. That way you can just schedule it. However one thing is your computer has to be on for the program to run.
Re: What does the orange exclamation point mean in the corner of a dataset icon
I don't think that's it, I got it too and everything ran fine BUT, I'm assuming (lack of information about this from Domo), it is showing that orange warning because there was no data to update in the last run. When I view the history of the dataset all runs have a spanner icon in the Action column except the last one which has an "i" for additional information. Domo should add this to the documentation OR show, if what I'm assuming is correct, the status of that last run with the "i" when I hover over the orange icon
Re: Multiple dashboard filters
Yes! If they are from the same datasource this will happen automatically. You may need to adjust filter exceptions if they have been applied previously.
