Re: Analyzer: Don't Automatically Choose Chart Type and Columns
absolutely. at least, make it a setting option
Re: Allowing DrillDowns on Pages/ dashboards
Hi -- just figured it out myself. Domo stories dashboards only, configure card interaction, "drill in place" -- then it will cycle through any of the various drill paths you've enable (so Week, then Month, so on if you configured them) -- would be nicer if a popup came up with the potential drill options but just an opinion.
Re: Magic ETL - Undo Button
This would be a quick win that would have a massive impact! Often times I find myself working on an ETL and then sometimes when you make an irreversible mistake (deleting a tile) you might to start all over from scratch and redo the progress you made!
Re: Visual showing percentage of progress against target
Hi @LauraSL ,
You can use Charts present under 'Gauges' chart types inside Analyser, I prefer progress bar, you could chose speedometers as well.
Thanks
Re: Year-over-year sales chart by month
Try pivoting your data so that you have a year column, month column and a value column. Then you can use the Month as your x-axis and the year as your series with the value as your y axis.
Re: Analyzer: Don't Automatically Choose Chart Type and Columns
Agreed. This would be especially helpful for reducing load time when building cards on large datasets.
Re: How to correctly use distinct count and case when in etl (unknown error)
@Le1331 Are you using the Formula Tile or a Group By tile? Aggregate functions like counts and sums must be done in the Group By tile since they depend on the values across multiple rows. The Formula Tile only evaluates functions based on values within the same row.
Re: Dashboard on dashboards/cards
I've created some inventory pages utilizing the Data Governance datasets. Specifically I have a list of all of the dataset within our instance, show their name, description and the owner and direct users to contact the owner if they need access to that dataset. I've also configured a drill path to show all the columns and their descriptions on the selected dataset as well. All this is done in a simple table chart.
Re: Dataset View
I will also add that views are dependent on another actual dataset in your instance, which you can find in the Lineage tab of the view in the data center. If you just need cards powered by the view to refresh daily, you would need to manage that in via the schedule settings of the source dataset.
