Re: Variable connected to a Filter Card
Due to how variables work the variable won’t remember the value you selected for a prior value of the variable column. I’d recommend adding this as an idea in the idea exchange
Re: Is there a way to have pivot tables collapsed by default?
New values would need to be manually collapsed. I'd recommend adding an idea to the idea exchange to allow a setting so that all groups start collapsed as doing this manually for many different rows can be tedious.
Re: chart axis issue
You are going to need to use Magic ETL to unpivot this data so that you can create a single column that has the names C-1,C-2,etc. This KB article walks you through how to do it.

Re: Flex Table Improved Customisation
Yes! The Flex Table has potential to be the most useful card type, making big sparklines-style tables, but the options are so limited, I can't use it for anything.
Re: Domo Python SDK
Try using work bench if you can. Most of the other connectors have much lower file size limits.

Re: How to Handle Ending Balances
I don't think you need a formula, just chose the "max" option when you click the drop down menu on the "doors" column directly in your bar chart in Domo.

Re: Use of Pivot Table When a Column Contains Many Variables
Mark - I do appreciate the response. It just seems to me something is missing in the ETL process. I use another ETL tool for ad hoc reporting, and it dynamically adds the columns.
I'm afraid the solution to this is to have many more rows than are needed. Maybe no other choice.
Thank you,

Re: How do I create a checkbox variable
@Ellier You'll likely need unpivot your data so that "Ramped Headcount" and "Partially Ramped Headcount" are on separate rows. Then you should be able to use a simple quick filter/slicer instead of a variable
