One additional note. I found out that Domo Everywhere can also control access, but Domo sales replied that Domo Everywhere is not available for internal use. It's a shame, but it looks like we'll have to compromise on the design aspect.

Thank you for your answer, @amehdad. There is no error message. It just loops between the sign-in screen and the SSO authentication form. Looking at the logs, both the IDP side and Domo authentication are successful, so I think it's an issue with the application.

Thank you so much, @amehdad21 and @Ashleigh! Your comments have been a big help for me to understand that SAML authentication is possible for the mobile app. I imagine the screen transition is web view > SAML auth > (deep link) > mobile app, I will check it out when our SSO setup is completed.

@Ashleigh and @jaeW_at_Onyx, thank you for your helpful comments. I'll try it in my sandbox account, as I don't have any history of failures at the moment and my environment is not conducive to creating a test DataSet.

For my purposes, it might be possible to monitor Last Execution Failed or Last Execution State in Domo Governance, but I haven't succeeded yet…
