While creating apps with multiple pages/tabs we don't often use the same dataset for each card we put on a dashboard (app in this case, woohoo for app studio!)

Where we are running into trouble here is that page filters only have the option to select a singular dataset rather than all datasets where the field is present.

Even better, we would love to be able to apply a filter, with all datasets that field is present in, at the app level rather than on a page by page level within the app.

Thank you for the feedback! We will make a note of this. On the second part, we are working on persistent filters that will help you have filters (all columns/specific columns) persist across the entire app!

    Hello, we are having this problem too. We are able to select the dataset we most want, save it but then it doesn't really save and resets to a different dataset that doesn't have all the dimensions/values needed.

    This would be a great functionality addition as it would make the transition of dashboards into tabs much easier. Also is there a timeline for when we can expect this to be added?

    Hi, I'm not sure if this is related to the original topic of this post, but I'm new to App Studio so I am following the training videos on Domo. In the Persistent Filters video, there is a section that displays in the training video, but I am not seeing it on my instance. The sections that I am not seeing are "Info & Permissions" and "Filter Options" which live inside the "App Configuration" section. The only thing I can think is that I have more than one dataset in an app. Does it require the same dataset in the app for this section to be enabled?

    The attachment "My Instance" is my instance and I've circled where I was expecting to see the above options. The attachment "demo instance" has the part I'm looking for high lighted, this is a snapshot of the training video.

    While I'm here, if I chose the option to "duplicate cards" when I imported a dashboard into my app, if I delete the app, the original cards will not also be deleted, correct?
