Google Sheets Connector Issue?

Hi Team,

I'm trying to get Google Sheets connected but receiving this error:

I've verified that I can connect to Google Sheets by "Re-connect"ing on the Connectors menu. I cleared Cache/cookies/history, and this has worked in the past so I've never had this issue.

Any ideas?

  • @Data_Devon Can you confirm that the Google Sheets account used in the connector has access to the sheet?

Yes, confirmed. I am on the Google Sheet, listed as an Editor

Domo support is asking for a "ClientToe" (??) - see below. Seems like a lot of steps for a simple problem but it's beyond my understanding so I don't know.

I appreciate the screenshot of the connector you are using. However, we kindly request you to create a new connector from scratch. If you still encounter the same error, please provide a screen recording of the issue along with the 'clientToe' from your end, as it will help us in further troubleshooting.

To obtain the 'clientToe,' please follow these steps:

    1. Right-click (or double-click on Mac) anywhere in the browser window where the issue occurs and select Inspect.

    2. In the new Inspect window, navigate to the Network tab.

    3. refresh or reload the affected page to trigger the error.

    4. In the Name column, look for any red text lines that appear when the error occurs (or any lines named domoweb, authenticate, me).

    5. Click on the relevant line and check the Preview tab for the clientToe.

    6. If not found in the Preview tab, navigate to the Headers tab and scroll to the bottom of the Request Headers section to locate the clientToe.

For reference, I have attached a screenshot of a sample clientToe in the files section.

To anyone else that has this issue:

I had the Google Sheet "saved" as an XLSX file, and this must've been causing the connectivity/compatibility issue. I saved it as a Google Sheet, and then it was able to connect successfully.

    No ClientToe needed 🚫😤
