The new editable tables feature does not currently allow end users to add additional rows to editable tables even when they have the "Edit Data in Editable Table Cells" grant. I sent this to support via Case 05946220 and i was told that was not part of the grant and that the only work around was to give the users the full "Edit Cards" grant as a workaround. This is not acceptable as there is a massive leap in permissions from simply adding rows to an editable table, to having full, unfettered access to Card Analyzer. The other workaround that was suggested was to simply add additional rows beforehand as an Admin, which is reasonable, except the use case we are using this for allows Sales Leaders to enter and add Opportunity Numbers to the Editable Table at their own discretion and we have no idea how many they are going to add. They could add 1 or they could add 100. Creating a blank Editable Table with over 100 blank rows just sitting there is not a very aesthetic option.
In conclusion i think there needs to be a separate Grant that can allow people to add Rows to Editable Tables w/o needing to give them full "Edit Cards" access which gives them access to Card Analyzer and other features we defintiely don't want them to have. Thanks!
