I was trying to reorganize the order of the dashboards in our Domo instance so that the same order would be visible to all users.
Initially, I went to:
Dashboards > Manage Dashboards
I changed the dashboard order and clicked Save. However, I noticed that the new order was only saved for my own user account and was not applied globally across the instance.
The workaround I found was to go to:
More > Admin > Content > Dashboards
From there, I manually moved each dashboard into the desired position.
One important detail is that, when moving dashboards, the selected dashboard is placed below the previous one. As additional dashboards are moved into the same position, the earlier dashboards are pushed upwards. Therefore, the dashboards may need to be moved in reverse order to achieve the intended final sequence.
Although this workaround works, it is quite manual and not very intuitive.
It would be helpful to have a clearer and simpler option in Manage Dashboards that allows administrators to save and publish a dashboard order globally for all users in the instance.
