A new hire familiar with Tableau was disappointed by a feature missing from Domo. In Tableau, they had the ability to "paperclip" different elements of a series from the legend, combining them into an ad-hoc group. For example, if my series had 5 groups A, B, C, D, and E, they could combine B, C, and E into group B+C+E. The chart would then of course display 3 groups, A, D, and B+C+E.
The idea is to provide end-users with a simple way to create ad-hoc groups from the elements of a series. (Mostly so I don't have to keep making new custom beast mode groupings)
Thanks.
