Why I cant aggregate my summary number in domo table chart

I am trying to show "flag"number in summary number based on the card i created. however it seems that this column "flag count" doesnt have a aggregation option. I am seeing 0 in the summary number. Even I tried to use the beast mode to aggregate it tells me there is a syntax error. (See attached beast mode screenshots) The goal is to count rows when "latest time" doesnt match "max date" . I want to use this summary number to show in a domo alert. Anyone know the reason behind this or how to solve this? Thank you!

    Flag Count is already aggregated in the BeastMode, so it doesn't let you switch the aggregation, which is why that option is greyed out, but it should still be able to aggregate in the Summary. What happens when you switch from "Use Current Value" to "Use All Values"?
