Skillset for New Hire

We're in the process of hiring on some additional help with our BI team and I'm interested in seeing what particular skill sets or qualifications others have found helpful for someone to be successful when learning and working as admin within Domo.

    This is an interesting topic.  I'll try to throw in my 2 cents here, but I'm also interested in hearing what others have to add...

     

    I think of skillsets for Domo as falling into 5 categories:

    1. Data Science
    2. Data Engineering
    3. Data Visualization
    4. Training
    5. Governance

    I would recommend evaluating your current team's strengths in each of these areas and the need for each category in your company.  Then I would work on finding a candidate that is strong in and excited about the category/categories where you see the biggest gap.
