DomoR returning Error: json_result$status == 200 is not TRUE

I'm getting 

 

Error: json_result$status == 200 is not TRUE

 

when trying to replace a data set with DomoR::replace_ds("datasetID",mydf). The same code works fine on my Mac but balks on a PC.  I'm stumped.
