Hi @JackMcG, have you read through these knowledge articles: Magic ETL 1.0: Creating a Recursive/Snapshot Magic ETL DataFlow Magic ETL 2.0: Creating a Recursive/Snapshot DataFlow in Magic ETL v2 (Beta) MySQL: Creating a Recursive/Snapshot SQL DataFlow

Some interesting options gents but surely there could a more convenient solution towards lean data instances.
-
Yep like being able to have code blocks or calling other features when commenting. @GrantSmith, have you had great recent mobile experiences with any of the tech stacks out there?
-
It's odd that this is still showing as 'Unanswered'
-
Yes please!
-
Commenting to get more visibility and potentially more upvotes :)
-
Great idea! Let's get more upvotes for this.
-
Yeah I'm surprised that the custom colour feature isn't available yet. Since the status of ideas feature isn't enabled in the new Dojo, what else can be done to escalate this?
-
@Tsharma8724, I would add that a few scenarios for using workbench could be: - Accessing a siloed amount of data, relevant to you and your region/teams, from a platform that is managed by global headquarters. - If your business deals with some highly sensitive data then having a local network point of ingestion is a more…
-
Hi @Reeza, if you haven't already, you should raise the issue with your customer succcess rep and/or Domo support.

@GrantSmith too quick, I was eyeing this q to answer and then nek minnit.

Hi @WorldWarHulk, going through 'Beast Mode Manager' [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042925474-Beast-Mode-Manager] is your best step for cleaning up your data as you may be highlighting an original beast mode among your duplicates (using Event time) which may not be used anymore whereas your duplicates are…
-
There doesn't seem to be a way currently to have a dynamically split average line across different sections of a graph. You'll need to create duplicate graphs for each region and have them side by side in your dashboard so it looks similar to your very top chart.
-
Hi @nbrx, in your connector settings, have you tried using the 'Custom Insights' report and searching in 'Columns' for "Post Saves" or similarly names fields?
-
Hi @Tow, it's likely that your pivot table has too many rows to process from the size of data being pulled in. In order to fully build the Pivot, the number of rows would need to be reduced.
-
Hi @ramoshe, for the graph you've selected, the x-axis needs to have some sort of measure field so perhaps it's better to represent that categorical levels information through another chart type (e.g. Pie chart), and the users can filter between the options based on your y-axis field.
-
Hi @AttuAk, I'm curious, what chart type did you use to create that view (with the side-by-side regions) in Domo? If you are after a simple average line, you can use the Scale Marker feature in 'Chart Properties' [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042925194-Adding-Scale-Markers-to-Your-Charts]. If it's a…

Another option is manual (and definitely not worth doing if you have PII data or similarly sensitive data) but you can have a set of filters applicable for each group via 'Save Filters' and 'Share with everyone' that you manually point (i.e. Click each filter and set whichever dataset in 'Show filter values only by the…
-
Hi @Ashleigh, according to DomoHelp, background images are recommended to have a size with a 2:1 ratio, so agreed with @MarkSnodgrass advice. But that's all the guidance provided online in terms of dimensions for background images :/
-
Keen! Any indications on around when this would be available?
-
Hi @cassandra_cook1, so checking that after this setup below, did you check if all the users have the correct PDP [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042934614-Creating-and-Deleting-PDP-Policies] to access your intended dataset?

Question answered in this thread: https://dojo.domo.com/discussion/53305/please-i-need-help-with-setting-up-a-retention-chart

Hi @mahee84, in order to get that graph view, follow these steps: Select 'Line + grouped bar' in Chart Types Drag in your 'Cumulative Backlog' field in the X axis and then either Daily date fields in 1st Series spot and then the other Daily date field in 2nd Series column At the moment, it'll show as one bar and one graph…

Hi @Lashes, could you please share your code and the full error message? Here's a start: SUM(CASE WHEN 'days until due' >= -9 AND 'days until due' <= -1 THEN '1-9 days' ... END)
-
Thanks for sharing that @MichelleH
-
Apologies, there's already an option to 'Save as' via the Share menu when one is on the drill path view.
-
Hi @mcgeete, there may actually be a solution in the works but I believe it's currently not possible to make the drill path card into a top-level card without recreating it from scratch. Let us know how you went about it. A workaround to this could be to redesign the main card as a simple landing site (e.g. A pie chart),…
-
Hi @ramoshe, you'll need to use the 'Group By' tile to get your average (or any aggregation) field. Have a look at this article [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044876094-Magic-ETL-v2-Tiles-Aggregate-Beta-] to better understand how to configure 'Group By' before adding it in your ETL.

Hi @TomKelleher, you could use annotations [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042923974-Adding-Chart-Annotations] to add the list of milestones in with your trends graph.
