I'd love to have a filter for 0 outputs, too. sometimes dead dataflows sit around and it would be nice to filter and quickly clean them up.

Exposing the day of the week is a great idea, and build on thoughts I've routinely had that I would love to see some adjustments to the calendar/date-based filter. It really doesn't function like any other tool in Domo, and I find it super cumbersome. As a workaround, sometimes I build date filters as dropdown menus with a…

Too sweet, thank you @AnnaYardley! I was indeed at the kickoff session for the Community way back when, and I'm glad this space is thriving today. Always happy to be in good Domo company :)

Agree with this - I usually give the card a dummy title so it's SUPER searchable, then add to my app, then change the title back. Extra steps that work, but more sort/filter/tag options in the UI would help on this front.

commenting on my own thing — i realize if i double click the dropdown menu it essentially selects all the text so then i can type over it or delete but… still feels like extra stuff

Agreed! The parent page is added to their navigation, but content has the "request access" mask over it which feels sloppy if you forget to permission them to the parent page itself, too

I'd like to be able to do this, and to control the sort. Quick filters always sort alpha-numerically, but sometimes you want descending, for instance.

Hey Kim - table cards are the ones where you CAN'T alert off of the data values. Summary number is the only way to get your alert to fire. I work around this by alerting on a bar chart, for instance, or on the dataset itself. Sometimes I build dataset views purely to aggregate the data I need to make my dataset alert…

Yeah I missed the part about copying across datasets - that's really the headache, isn't it?
-
big plus one to this - especially if you have a nice layout of filters/controls on the page. It's hard to replicate that without a disruption in spacing, and all the various design elements could be replicated more seamlessly if you could duplicate a page from within the same app.

Related convo here! Would love to see this enhanced.

Bring back the Hamburger please !!!!!!

Ok so I DO actually see the range now that I made a tweak to my data. The app I'm building uses 2 datasets, and the values for this specific column are at a different aggregation from dataset A to dataset B It seems that the filter didn't know which dataset to reference, so it didn't provide a range - but the SELECTION…

This is super important, I agree. I've also had to create a Staging Area legacy-style page for my cards for App Studio so it's easy to find, edit, and replicate them. I don't prefer to build cards inside of App Studio, because they don't then seem to "live" anywhere inside my classic Domo instance and that can be a big…

I'm running into this same issue, it's a little frustrating and not super intuitive. I've been using the SPACER element to fill in the space below where I want the chart to stop, in cases where I don't need the full height. It's working but a little clunky. I would also love to see a way to standardize sizing across tabs…

Can we bring this idea back to life please? I'm talking about the real-time Activity Log inside the Admin module, not the domostats dataset. Thanks!

I believe you can only select one card at a time - that's how I've been using it. BUT - three pro's to me are 1) you can get to the content the same way you would navigate your Domo instance; 2) You can used Page Filter Views within the PPT so if you have a specific and crucial filter setting, you can hang onto it for…

This is a good idea - we now have search for columns and search for chart types, so properties seems a valid addition to the functionality!
-
Very curious about upcoming enhancements to variables - I have started to use and love them, but the Admin is really tedious.

I see this is awaiting review from the product team - hoping there is also an opportunity to authenticate via third party MFA apps (Google Authenticator, etc) on the near term road map?

Looks like this was Archived? I'd love to see this further considered…

Agree with this, I have been building my own versions of period over period in order to have more control. Would also like control over the legend display — the defaults are 1 year ago, 2 years ago - I would like the option to display the Year from the field I'm reporting on. Date Formatting control would also be important…

This is a cool idea. I do think if it can be implemented, it would be helpful to have a hierarchy for how this color rule would play with any chart property color rules. For instance, if you have 3 colors in a series (Full Time, Part Time, Seasonal), and each person's bar is colored based on those rules, how does that work…

@AndreaLovesData If I see you at Domopalooza I might have to give you a hug !

Thank you @AndreaLovesData !!

I would like to see it be an instance-wide toggle. There are plenty of ways to get cards open in a new tab, I'm glad for the flexibility, but the extra clicks for every single card so my front-end user doesn't have to think about it feels like time that could be saved by a company setting.
-
@Jbrorby I don't have any datasets sitting on this connector type, so I assume it did not! We traffic our social campaigns through a third party platform and send to Domo via SFTP. I then built my own cards.
-
I also noticed this takes more clicks when it used to be just one! Please bring back the one-click option… or disable by default as @RobSomers suggests!
-
Would love to also see select multiple or DEFAULT SELECT ALL for Change Interaction > Open card details in new tab !!

Right, in the preview - maybe right here. I want to know how many rows are contained in the step. So if I have 1000, I blow it up to 2000 on a join, but then land with 500 due to a group by -- just tell me that in the header of each tile after I run a preview. If 500 is what I wanted, then I'm happy.
