I see the same thing, I agree with Mark this seems like something that if possible is through your CSM or a Support ticket.

Beast modes cannot be written to detect the state of filters. Currently there is no CASE WHEN €filter€ = x THEN COUNT(y) ELSE COUNT(DISTINCT y) type of logic available. I think there is some utility for this but without any sort of column level lineage or traceability it quickly could create dependency chains that would be a nightmare to track down.
