When a user hovers over a card, they are able to view and click on an expand button. This allows them to make changes to the card from a more close-up view and see the effects in real-time. This is quite helpful with things like charts, but if the card is something like a time range filter like a draggable line or calendar, the user sometimes wants a close-up view to make more accurate changes. When they click out of the expanded view, the user finds to their dismay that all of those changes are reverted and not applied to the data. To them, it's misleading to have the expand button only be a way to preview changes for filter-related cards.
Please either provide the option for us to apply user changes from expanded view or let us hide the expanded view button.
