Right now, the only options for card, dashboard, and app edit access is based on role grants. If you lock a card, dashboard, or app, only the owners of that card, along with admins, and anyone with the grant of " Manage all Cards, Pages, Apps (App Studio), Worksheets and Reports (Report Builder)". This is grant based rather than content based. People can't be shared specifically "edit" access limited only to the relevant content that that individual should have access to, without also making them an owner. People and groups can be co-owners of this content, but it would be nice if it were more comparable to datasets and dataflows, where people could be given view/share access, edit access, or are owners. It would be nice to have the cards that live on a page also inherit the view / edit / own permissions of the dashboard or app it lives on instead of having to manually change it for each card.
