Description:
When managing large Domo environments with hundreds of Beast Modes, it can be difficult to identify dependency-related issues before they cause failures in App Studio repository promotions or other downstream processes.
It would be valuable to have a validation tool that can proactively identify:
- References to deleted or missing Beast Modes
- Invalid nested Beast Mode dependencies
- Dataset column mismatches
- Broken dependencies resulting from dataset schema changes
- Beast Modes that may pass syntax validation but contain unresolved references
- Promotion-blocking validation issues before App Studio deployment
Additional functionality such as dependency mapping, impact analysis, and reporting of affected cards/pages would help administrators quickly identify and remediate issues without manually reviewing large numbers of Beast Modes.
This would improve troubleshooting, reduce promotion failures, and provide greater confidence when managing App Studio repositories and complex Beast Mode environments.
