Summary
Please create a regular, structured Platform UX and UXR focus group / forum with customers that goes beyond functionality feedback, so Domo can validate usability, workflows, and adoption blockers earlier in betas and across new releases.
Problem
Platform experience issues (admin and governance flows, publishing and distribution, permissions and roles, data experiences, app building experiences, connectors onboarding, discoverability, and cross instance workflows) often surface late or through reactive escalations. Without a consistent UXR loop, it is hard to validate end to end workflows early, and adoption suffers even when the underlying feature technically works.
What we are asking for
A lightweight but consistent program that includes:
- A recurring cadence (example: monthly or per release cycle) for UXR sessions with customer participants.
- Early access to in progress UX flows (prototypes and designs) for validation before GA.
- A way to bring customer SMEs in early for topic specific areas (governance and admin, publish and subscribe, App Studio, connectors, cross instance workflows).
- A visible and traceable feedback loop: what was heard, what changed, what is planned.
Why this matters
- Adoption depends on workflow clarity and usability, not just feature availability.
- Validating designs with real enterprise use cases reduces rework after GA and prevents “technically shipped but not adoptable” outcomes.
- A predictable forum allows customers to contribute constructively instead of only reacting after release.
