Hi,
Hard one to describe this but is an ongoing frustration for us and a workaround would be great to have.
Our main instance is our dev environment with live content published to sub-instances. When creating apps we need to turn off many of the settings including menu items, filter/PDP icons and navigation options for end users.
As expected this turns these options off for us too on the main instance mirroring the final output however we are frequently editing and updating apps and re-publishing with updates and improvements.
Currently this requires us to turn these settings back on each time and then back off when editing is finished.
Could we have a way to apply the settings but either ignore them in our dev environment or perhaps have a toggle to preview the app with them applied or not. Could also work by role or owner where they are applied but the admin role or owner still has full control with the hidden elements still visible / available.
E.g. Domo Navigation, Home and Details options may be hidden in the settings but the owner and/or admin role still see these options within the dev environment.
Hope that's clear
Thanks
T
