Whether a recent bug or long-term issue, I recently found that the STR_TO_DATE function in an ETL SQL query fails when attempting to read in dates which use the
"%b" abbreviated month name format. The only workaround was to have a prior step to rename each abbreviated month to the full name, and then use "%M" for the string conversion.
Generally speaking, it would be good to ensure that all standard parameter formats are supported.
