We're using the Azure DevOps connector for the "Work Items" report. Since this report for this connector can only update as "merge", it doesn't detect records that have been hard-deleted. There is also a report for "Work Items Deleted" that retrieves deleted work items from Recycle Bin. We tried to use this, but found that we empty the recycling bin regularly, so it still does not detect records that were deleted prior to emptying the recycling bin.
I would like a change to the existing "Work Items" report. If we are able to use this report, and update it as "Replace", then we can compare an appended dataset with a replace dataset to identify deleted records, or simply run the data as replace. Without this, it's impossible to accurately report on work items.
