We loved the "Clear Filter" Action in the App Studio, but it would be best if it's working on all fields including variables (resets to default) as it currently only working with fields that aren't set to persist across the other pages.
Currently, the inability to do this pushed us to duplicate our datasets and rename our fields just so we could utilize both the "Clear Filter" action and the persistent filters through the button actions at the same time. Since configuring the persistent filters from the filter options excludes the fields from what the "Clear Filter" action can affect.
The reason for the dataset-duplication and field-renaming is to make sure filters that are not meant to persist do not when navigating the other pages through the buttons.
With this request, the "Clear Filter" action would better serve its purpose to truly clear all filters in one click across the App with multiple pages without the redundant workaround we did to achieve what's needed.
If also possible, please include here resetting the variables to its default.
